Security Design & Installation was formed in November 1998, by Steve Bartram, following over 20 years experience in the security field, designing and project managing security systems from the smallest to the most technically complex systems available.

Security Design & Installation was later incorporated in April 2003

Since its conception, Security Design & Installation Ltd has established a reputation for providing practical solutions that are both business driven and cost effective, while developing excellent customer relationships and a strong customer base. We are now providing installation, service and maintenance contracts for several customers as well as major blue chip companies in the UK.

As a result of our excellent working relationship with our customers we are able to offer on site demonstrations of any systems we have previously installed together with the opportunity to discuss the level of service provided by ourselves.




Security Design & Installation Ltd specialise in the supply, installation and maintenance of;

Closed Circuit Television.
(from static to fully functional cameras including guard tours, preset positioning, and remote monitoring)

Access Control
(incorporating photo ID, Time and Attendance, Graphical maps, multiple site administration and DDA compliant intercoms systems)

Perimeter Protection
(including turnstiles, barriers, road-blockers, power fence and external detection systems)


We purposely limit our product range to products with a proven track record for reliability, while training our engineers to high level for both installation and maintenance.

Project management of major installations and close liaison with other trades is an everyday responsibility as part of a major installation. Regardless of the size of an installation however, our experience gained throughout the years assures you of the highest standard of workmanship, project management acumen and sound technical ability.

With contacts throughout the industry we have been able to secure very competitive rates of discount, this coupled with lower overhead costs have enabled us to compile a very competitive pricing structure. These savings are in turn passed to you, the end customer.

All security systems installed will be backed with a twelve-month warranty period and following discussions with you a maintenance package can be developed to exactly meet your own personal security requirements. Whether we installed the system or you are not receiving the level of service you expect from your initial installation company and require us to maintain a previously installed system, we understand the importance of a well maintained security system at all times, and our commitment towards total customer satisfaction is of paramount importance. Our objective is always to be pro-active rather than re-active when dealing with your security system.
